We've got a great mix of traditional Bachata tunes and modern hits that will make you let loose, have a blast, and totally immerse yourself in this lively and social atmosphere. Let's do this!

Cha Cha

The Cha Cha is a dance style that was created in the nightclubs of Cuba and has since spread to dance floors all over the world. It is known for its playful and vibrant nature, with dancers using quick steps and hip movements to create a lively and upbeat atmosphere.

With our Cha Cha dance lessons, you will not only learn the basics of this exciting dance style but also gain a deeper understanding of its history and cultural significance. You will discover the various ways in which the Cha Cha has evolved to become what is practiced today.

Rumba

Rumba is a sensual and slow dance, with a rich and fascinating history that spans over five centuries. It evolved from a blend of Latin American and African influences, which gave it its unique character and made it distinct from all of the other high energy Latin styles.

Rumba was originally danced to express love and romance, with its signature hip movement and footwork that evoke sensuality and passion. As the dance evolved over time, it became a popular form of entertainment and a means of socializing in Cuba and other parts of Latin America.

Salsa (On the 1)

This class teaches you the moves and concepts you need to go out and dance at Chicago's amazing Salsa clubs’. There are tons of different Salsa styles out there, but we mainly teach “On the 1”. It’s also our Master Teacher Matthew Sove’s favorite! It’s Cuban-based style, but with a modern West Coast twist.

When we started our yearly Miami getaway, we wanted to give our clients the chance to really immerse themselves in salsa dancing and tear up the dance floor with ease. That's why we started Salsa "On the 2" classes. It's got a smooth and relaxed beat, perfect for those who like to connect to the music and get creative. It's a favorite for sure!

Salsa (New York Style On the 2)

Originating from Cuba in the early 1900s, Salsa on 2 is a lively and rhythmic dance that is known for its fast footwork, hip movements, and arm gestures. Unlike Salsa, Salsa on 2 a has a unique and distinct feel that is sure to captivate any dancer. In our classes, we offer an exciting mix of different genres of music, including mambo, pop, and disco beats, that are sure to get you moving and grooving to the rhythm. Not to mention, our students also have the opportunity to participate in our annual Miami trip, where they can showcase their newly acquired dance skills and enjoy the vibrant Latin dance scene in one of the most exciting cities in the world.
