Ballroom Dance Chicago Memberships

Our memberships give you discounted rates simply for showing up more. The more you commit to dancing with us, the cheaper it gets! Dance can be pricey—but being a member makes it easier to try different styles, join more classes, and get the most out of the studio without paying full price every time.

Free classes each month will pay for the membership in and of itself.

Apprentice Membership

$99/month

Minimum 4-month commitment

Class Credits Each Month:

  • 2 credits for Classes for Everyone, including Crash Courses. Classes for Couples are not included. $40-$120 value

  • 2 credits to the 4th Saturday Class + Open Social. $60 value

Membership FAQ

  • Each membership has a minimum commitment of 4, 8, or 12 months from the date of purchase. Members are automatically moved to a month-to-month membership after completion of that term until cancelled.

  • We require 2 weeks notice to cancel your membership. Memberships can be cancelled by emailing info@ballroomdancechicago.com . Once cancelled, you will retain the membership until the expiration of your month.

  • We do not offer refunds on memberships, with the exception of newly purchased memberships.

    If a membership is cancelled within 48 hours after purchase, we offer a full refund (minus a $50 service fee). Otherwise, we do not offer refunds on memberships.

  • We do not allow memberships to be transferred between people.

  • Each level of membership gives you free tickets to group classes and monthly Socials as well as discounts on other services in the studio.

    Apprentice:

    • 25% discount on private lessons

    • 35% discount on of group classes and drop-in packages

    • Free entrance to monthly Socials

    • 2 free group class tickets

    Associate:

    • 45% discount on private lessons

    • 60% discount on of group classes and drop-in packages

    • Free entrance to monthly Socials

    • 4 free group class tickets

    Partner:

    • 65% discount on private lessons

    • 90% discount on of group classes and drop-in packages

    • Free entrance to monthly Socials

    • 6 free group class tickets

  • Membership is for either a solo dancer or a couple. If signing up with a partner, please note the name of your partner during checkout.

  • We allow any membership to be put on a one month hold once a year for a $30 administrative fee. To put your membership on hold, please email info@ballroomdancechicago.com and supply the dates for which you’d like the membership paused.

  • You need an active membership to receive the discounted lessons rate. If you decide to cancel your membership and you still have lessons on your account, you will need to pay the full lesson rate for the remaining lessons. In may cases, it might make more sense to keep the membership for an additional month to use your lessons and the free benefits before cancelling.
