Latin Dance Group Classes
Our Latin group classes are not like traditional group classes where the teacher stands at the front of the class and demonstrates concepts to a large group of students, never really giving personalized attention. Since our group classes are limited in size to 4-5 couples per instructor, we are able to treat them more like shared private lessons, where the teacher works with each couple individually. Our group classes offer you personalized attention and, therefore, a better learning environment.
In every class, the goal is to learn how to dance to the music you’d hear in any social setting. You’ll leave the class with new dance moves perfect for your next night out, or just a wine & date night at home! When the instruction is over in our Lakeview location, feel free to stay and practice before heading off into the world with your new dance skills. Please note that dancers must bring a partner if attending our West Loop studio.
In our 4-week mixed-level courses, we expand on our movement vocabulary in each lesson. Whether you’re an advanced dancer or a brand-new beginner, by the end of 4 weeks, you’ll have something new to add to add to your dance knowledge!

Helpful Tips For Searching:
Classes: Anything drop-in! Dance as often as your schedule allows.
Courses: Four-Week Courses that start the first full week of the month. These only take place in Lakeview and a partner is required.
Locations: Lakeview offers all style of classes with or without a partner. West Loop offers weekly drop-ins where a partner is required.
Latin Group Class Overview:
— Group classes are held at both of our locations:

— Group Class lessons in Lakeview are one hour long: 45 min of instruction and 15 min of practice time. Lessons in West Loop are 45min.
— We offer four-week courses and drop-in classes.
—Dancers must be 21 years and older to attend.
— We offer classes where you will need a partner and classes where you will not. Make sure to either filter based on that criteria, or read the class description.
— Dancers of all levels are welcome.
— We are BYOB! We allow beer and wine. No liquor, please. Non-alcoholic beverages are also welcomed!
