Wedding Dance Tutorials
If you're preparing for the first dance at your wedding, it's important to learn one of the most versatile steps in dancing: the box step. Chances are pretty high that you'll be able to use this for whatever song you choose for your first dance.
The Box Step
This basic box step is found in every dance style and can be used with almost every song out there, which is why it's a must learn for your upcoming wedding.
This is a continuation of the side basic step, so make sure to watch that tutorial first! Basically, this spin adds a little excitement to a first dance. You'll definitely get some cheers from your wedding guests with addition to your first dance!
Side Basic - Inside Turn
The inside turn is easy once your break it down, so make sure to give this a try! This spin will be sure to make your wedding guests cheer!
If you're preparing for the first dance at your wedding, make sure to learn a turn or two. This outside turn comes from a box step, so if you don't know that, make sure to check out our box step tutorial first.
Underarm Turn in the Box
This is a continuation from the box step, so if you're not familiar with the box, learn that first. The underarm turn will help add a little flair to your wedding dance!

The Dip
You can end your first dance many different ways, but this is the classic: the dip! Your guest won't be able stay seated after this ending.
The side basic is one of the easiest and most versatile steps in dance, which is why you should learn it for your upcoming wedding. Whether you're first dance song is slow and romantic or upbeat and fun, this step will be perfect for your wedding!
