Spring Blooms Ball
As winter slips away and the air begins to shift, we gather one final time to celebrate the close of Chicago Ball Season—and the arrival of something new. The Spring Blooms Ball is a one-night celebration of rhythm, renewal, and community, blooming with music and movement.
This is the last ball of the season, and it's designed to help us shake off the chill, gather one more time, and welcome the promise of warmer days. Whether you’ve attended every ball this season or this is your first, everyone is welcome—no partner or prior experience needed or required.
This event will offer two options to enjoy the festivities; standing tickets that include a place to set your belongings, and seated tickets that include a table with a view of the dance floor!
What to Expect at the Spring Blooms Ball
Swing Dance Lesson
Start the night with an upbeat swing class full of playful music and energetic steps. Whether you're a regular or stepping into the ballroom for the first time, this class will have you dancing with confidence and joy.
Quadrille Class – The Season Finale
We’ll close out the Quadrille season with one final round of this lively, theatrical group dance. Much like a square dance, the Quadrille is a highly social dance —a light-hearted way to dance with the entire room. No experience or partner is needed, just a willingness to learn and follow along.
Social Dancing All Evening
In between and after classes, the floor is open for a mix of swing, foxtrot, waltz, and other ballroom favorites. Practice everything you’ve learning during this Ball Season, and our instructors will be there to help you end the season in style.
Spring Details
We’ll set the mood with fresh flowers, and colorful touches; match the decor in your garden party best!
Dress Code
Polish your look for the final ball of the season. Think cocktail dresses, tailored separates, or suits with spring flair. Florals, soft colors, and vintage-inspired pieces are welcome—but the key is to feel celebratory and comfortable on the dance floor.
