Patrick & Emily told us a little about their experience learning to dance and dancing at their wedding:

What was your favorite part of taking wedding dance lessons?

We loved working with Lydia! She was so much fun and made the classes more than just getting ready for our big day. We have enjoyed getting to know each other more as a couple and try something outside of our comfort zone. We loved being able to use the dance moves we learned and apply them to other weddings and events where dancing is fashionable.

What insight or knowledge can you share with other couples who are taking dance lessons for their wedding?

Start early and take more classes than you think you may need. Try to relax and make it a fun experience than something that you dread.

Describe how you felt before, during and after your first dance on your wedding day.

A: We were both very nervous that we would screw up a step or a combination. We practiced just before we entered the venue space for our first dance. During the dance, Patrick made one small mistake but we recovered so quickly that only the two of us would have realized it. We hit our big lift and ended on a high note. It honestly was one of our biggest highlights of the entire wedding weekend. WE LOVE BDC!!!
